Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Simple Light LLC, doing business as Simple Light ("Simple Light," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Simple Light website at https://simplelight.io and related applications, products, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Simple Light provides a digital sanctuary for grounded spiritual reflection, education, and guided voice experiences. Our content is offered for personal growth and contemplation and is not a substitute for professional advice.

Simple Light does not issue binding halachic rulings, psak halacha, or authoritative religious directives. Nothing in the Services constitutes medical, mental health, legal, tax, or financial advice. Always consult qualified professionals for matters requiring licensed or rabbinic authority.

You use the Services at your own discretion and risk. We do not guarantee specific spiritual, emotional, or practical outcomes.

Unless otherwise stated, Simple Light LLC owns or licenses all intellectual property in the Services, including source code, software, databases, audio recordings, voice models, text, graphics, logos, the seven-dot emblem, and other marks (collectively, "Marks").

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Simple Light LLC.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.

When you register, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You agree to notify us promptly at info@simplelight.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Paid subscriptions and purchases are billed in United States Dollars (USD) through Stripe or other authorized payment processors. Current subscription options include $49 per month or $470 per year, plus applicable taxes where required.

By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund prior charges except where required by law or our stated refund policy.

We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes apply to subsequent billing periods after notice.

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with security features, scraping or harvesting data, uploading malware, harassing others, or using the Services for unlawful purposes.

You may not use the Services to generate, distribute, or promote content that is defamatory, hateful, infringing, or that violates the rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, and modify or discontinue the Services at any time to protect users, comply with law, or maintain platform integrity.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

You consent to receive electronic communications from us related to your account, transactions, security, and Service updates. You may opt out of non-essential marketing messages as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally for at least thirty (30) days by contacting info@simplelight.io with a written description of the dispute.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or unauthorized use.
