Voice and session data: When you initiate a voice session, we process audio input, transcripts, session metadata (timestamps, persona selection, feature flags), and technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and improve the experience. We do not use voice content to train unrelated third-party models without a disclosed legal basis and appropriate controls.

Payment-related data: Subscription checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive billing identifiers, plan selection, and payment status from Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Automatically collected data: We collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and diagnostic events through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies as described below.

Speech-to-text (STT) and synthesis: Voice features convert your speech to text and may generate spoken responses using approved cloud providers under contractual data protection terms. Processing occurs to fulfill the Service you request.

Grounded retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): To keep responses aligned with approved spiritual and educational sources, we may retrieve relevant passages from curated knowledge bases and inject them into model prompts. Retrieved content and your query may be logged in truncated or redacted form for quality, safety, and abuse prevention.

Audio cache: Short-lived audio or transcript caches may be stored to reduce latency, resume interrupted sessions, or support replay within your account. Cache retention is limited by operational need and configuration; you may request deletion of account-linked session history subject to legal retention requirements.

Human review: We do not routinely listen to live calls for marketing. Limited personnel or vendors may access de-identified or account-linked records when necessary for security investigations, support, or legal compliance.

Cookies and similar technologies: We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, security, and load balancing. We retain billing records as required for tax, fraud prevention, and contract enforcement. Refund and cancellation practices are described in our Terms and Conditions and your account settings.

Service providers: We share personal information with vendors that host infrastructure, provide authentication, analytics, email delivery, customer support, and voice/AI processing, solely to perform services on our behalf under written confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, and security of users, Simple Light, or the public.

Business transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal information may transfer subject to this Policy or successor notice.

Security measures: We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and vendor reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your credentials.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising where prohibited without opt-in consent.
